So..I just watched half of an episode of Whale Wars.
Not sure which episode, but from the look of it they got a new, inexperienced crew.

God, I'm so steamed I don't even know where to fucking begin...

I hate that show
I do! I haven't even watched a full episode and already I hate/ am disgusted by it.
I LOVE whales, Don't get me wrong. But that show is a fucking waste of time and good money.
The entire ship "Steve Irwin" and the "Sea Shepherd" crew is so disorganized and eccentric that's it's DANGEROUS.
100% fucking dangerous! Not just by Japan's Whaling ships either!

Already in less than half an hour I watched someone break their thumb, and a girl be hurt that she can't even move her goddamn LEGS.

So I'll take it from what I started to see at first.



Disorganization--- When your on a ship; out in the MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE.
It doesn't take a genius to know that you need ORGANIZATION. Especially if you're out on frigid arctic waters!
People..If you fall off that boat into that freezing cold water; you have less than 90 seconds to get your ass out of the water before you freeze to death; and even when you get out, You have to dodge severe hypothermia that will set in!
These people are taking on new crew members and not TEACHING THEM JACK SHIT; then getting all pissed off and upset when these poor volunteers try their hardest to work and do right; and DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING.
They only taught the new crew how to launch a ship once.. Then expect them to KNOW IT DOWN PAT.
And; the asshole CAPTAIN is standing on the second deck shouting/barking orders, not bothering to even lift a fatass finger to help HIS CREW.
His choice of "attacks" on JAPANESE WHALING SHIPS is reckless.

I have read about the Japanese. And I'm no fucking idiot.
The Captain wanted to launch out the four women of his crew to board the enemy whaling ship with a bunch of MEN who haven't seen a woman in months
The fishermen on those Whaling ships don't care about laws, politeness, or decency.
They see a fucking woman on their ship...
They're gonna rape her.
They're going to fucking have their way with these poor, young, blinded girls that vary between the ages of 19-35 years of age and either take them back to Japan and send them home. Or worse; kill them.

Out on he open sea, as much as people would like to think. the laws don't matter anymore
That's how/why Japanese Whaling ships have been killing whales illegally in the first fucking place.
And if I didn't know any goddamn better; the captain WANTS these girls to get fucking hurt so he can exploit it to the media.

His actions and choices can either MAKE or BREAK the entire Crew. And so far; I've seen nothing but sloppy, halfassed, idiotic actions and choices.



Attitudes and the crew

Ohhh yeah. The Captain, 1st, and 2nd mates? they treat their crew like TRASH. I've watched it.
I can't even fucking stand the 2nd mate- Peter Hammarstedt. I wanna backhand him so hard, his little mustache comes right the fuck off.
He reminds me of a rat...No. Seriously, take a good look at him. He looks like a fucking stow away rat with too many fucking idealist visions with an arrogant and bad personality to boot. And what infuriates me about him; is that he acts like a COWARD.
He hardly leaves the cabin AT ALL. Not ONCE in my time of sitting there and watching 25 minutes of that TV show did I see him step foot outside unless it was to snoop and see how one of the girls got hurt. And did he help with moving her stretcher?
Oh fuck no.
And to add with that; I was told by my mother who was following the show that this shmuck got kicked out of GREENPEACE.
FUCKING GREENPEACE!
I dunno about you; but when you get kicked out of the Greenpeace organization, there's definitely something wrong there...

This pisses me off more than The Grizzly Man's Diaries.
Like seriously.

All in all, The idea of saving the Whales is a GREAT one. As a volunteer who works for an Aquarium that Rescues, Rehabilitates, and releases injured sea-life; I support that idea with a burning passion.
But if you're gonna go out into ANTARCTICA and chase after people who don't give a shit about killing nature; or YOU.
You better have some fucking DAMN good organization behind you; and a well educated captain who is cultured. And a damn good crew who is able to work together and not have constant fighting; and have a good knowledge of how to run and handle a ship.
I pity the newcomers, and I pity anyone who boards "Steve Irwin" and freshly joins the "Sea Shepherd" crew.

I can't say anything else about the show because I haven't watched it all.
I'm stating this rant on what I've just recently seen; and honestly. I don't want to watch anymore of it.
I refuse to give my good time and attention to support a show that's only going to end in a catastrophe.

I'm expecting to see the news come up that the "Steve Irwin" ship was mobbed and sunk by the very Japanese whalers they're fucking with.
